Meet the Board
The Fox Park Neighborhood Association board is voted on by members in good standing at the end of each calendar year, usually at the November general meeting. Board terms are active for one year from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 and each board position is limited to a three-year term. For more information about our board members and their duties, see our bylaws.
Elaine Coder, President
Leads meetings, creates meeting agendas, communicates with varied organizations and city leaders, oversees committees.
Jane Alderson, Vice President
Supports the President, standing in when they are absent to lead meetings and other initiatives.
Andrew Marshall, Treasurer
Has custody of and is responsible for tracking all associations funds in accordance with board and membership votes and bylaws.
Anna Rogers, Assistant Treasurer
Supports the Treasurer, reporting to the board and general association in their absence as well as other duties as assigned.
Samantha Freyholtz, Corresponding Secretary
Oversees the Communications Committee in an effort to get all meeting and event notices to the neighborhood in a timely, accessible fashion via social media, the website, etc.
Roberta Williams, Recording Secretary
The custodian of the association’s record, they keep and archive meeting minutes, addresses and contact information for the board.
Monnette Blue, Sergeant at Arms
Manages board and association meetings, securing meeting place, maintaining decorum and ensuring votes follow order.
Our Committees & Chairs
Committees are groups of members and volunteers that work together to produce events, take care of our park and accomplish various goals around the neighborhood. Chairs are elected by the committee at the first committee meeting of the calendar year. For more information, see our bylaws.

Community Engagement Committee
This group plans many type of activities to keep the folks of Fox Park connected.
Jay Reeves, Development & Historic Standards Committee
Works with rehab and new construction projects to maintain our standards as a designated historic district.
Dustin Smith, Dog Park Committee
Tending to our canine residents, this committee works to maintain the dog park and host special events and fundraisers.
Dr. Katy Mike Smaistrla Lampe, Master Planning Committee
Our community-guided goal is to establish a comprehensive planning tool designed to provide a long-term strategy for the health, safety and general welfare of the Fox Park neighborhood.
Jane Alderson, Membership Committee
Create data-driven strategies for recruitment and retention of FPNA members.
VACANT (Who likes plants?),
Park & Beautification Committee
With a large park and many green spaces around the ‘hood, this committee works to keep those spaces maintained and looking great.
Sara Levin, Safety Committee
The primary purpose of the Safety Committee is to engage in projects and activities that promote the safety of residents, businesses and visitors to the Fox Park neighborhood.
